London
I have completed a bachelor’s degree in child and Youth Care, a Post Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Therapy, a PG Certificate in Special and Inclusive Education, and currently pursuing a master’s in Psychology.
With an enduring passion for enhancing the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), I bring a wealth of experience and dedication to my role. My journey began with early involvement in volunteering, where I gained invaluable insights into the unique challenges faced by children with Autism. Building upon this foundation, I decided to enrol in the Autism and Behavioural Science program. This academic background equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in clinic-based settings across Canada, where I specialized in supporting children with Autism. Relocating to the UK offered me the opportunity to expand my horizons further, transitioning seamlessly into roles as an ABA Tutor and as an Autism Specialist in London. In these positions, I've had the privilege of collaborating closely with families, developing customized programs to meet the diverse needs of children with Autism, and facilitating their successful integration into mainstream and private educational settings.

How I teach Maths
In teaching mathematics I employ a range of specialized techniques tailored to meet the unique learning profiles of each student. I begin by conducting thorough assessments to identify individual strengths, challenges, and preferred learning modalities. For children with visual learning preferences, I utilize concrete manipulatives, such as counting blocks or geometric shapes, to help them grasp abstract mathematical concepts. Visual learners may benefit from the use of charts, diagrams, and graphic organizers to visualize problem-solving processes. Additionally, I break down mathematical concepts into manageable steps, providing clear and concise instructions to minimize confusion. Throughout the learning process, I emphasize repetition and reinforcement to solidify understanding and build confidence. Furthermore, I integrate real-life applications of mathematical concepts to foster relevance and engagement. By employing a variety of strategies tailored to individual needs, I strive to make mathematics accessible and enjoyable for children with SEND, empowering them to succeed in their mathematical journey
How I teach English
Having worked in various schools throughout London I employ strategies to engage my students. Understanding the diverse learning styles, I craft interactive lessons that appeal to different sensory preferences. I ensure active participation by incorporating hands-on activities, games, and role-playing exercises that make learning English an enjoyable and immersive experience for all students. Through these innovative approaches, I aim to develop a passion for language learning while empowering children to thrive. I break down lessons into smaller, manageable tasks and provide frequent opportunities for practice and reinforcement which overall enhances comprehension and retention.
How I teach children with focus and concentration difficulties
I prioritize creating an environment that is both structured and predictable, employing clear routines and visual timetables to provide a sense of stability. By breaking tasks into manageable steps, I facilitate shorter bursts of focus, thereby relieving overwhelming feelings and promoting continuous engagement. I am committed to integrating children's interests into lessons, utilizing multi-sensory techniques such as hands-on activities and sensory experiences to enhance learning experiences. Additionally, I recognize the importance of incorporating movement and brain breaks to support grounding and facilitate refocusing when needed.
How I support children and young people’s confidence and self-esteem
Supporting individuals with low self-esteem involves a compassionate approach tailored to their unique struggles. By identifying the root causes, I empower learners to cultivate resilience, embrace a growth mindset, and foster a positive self-image. Creating a safe, inclusive environment and integrating mindfulness techniques like deep breathing further enhances their journey to self-improvement
